The picture would be enlarged __ times

[] you would multiply 3 by 3 since you want to get the length and width enlarged 3 times and same with the 5 multiply it by 3.
5x3=15
3x3=9
[] when you multiply 15 by 9 you would get 135
[] now you would divide 135 by 15 which is the original area
135÷15=9
[] The picture would be enlarged 9 times

1. Sami decided to park her car at Park&Go for her four-day trip. The cost is usually
$8 per day or partial day. However, Sami has a 20% discount coupon for her entire

[] We know that four days will cost her $32.00 because 4x8=32
[] First you find 10% of $32.00

3.2 x2 = 6.4
[] So, 20 % of $32.00 is $6.40

[] second grid has 15 squares shaded out of 25
[] 15
÷25=0.6x100=60
[] third grid has 13 squares shade out of 25
[] 13
÷25= 0.52x100= 52
[] fourth grid has 14 squares shaded out of 25
[] 14
÷25=0.56x100=56
[] fifth grid has 13 squares shaded out of 25
[] 13
÷25=0.52x100=52
[]add all the square shaded
[]7+15+13+14+13=62
[] 62 divided by 125 which gives you 0.496 but you know that's not a happy number so you multiply by 100 which gives you 49.6 and round it off to the nearest tenth gives you 50

[] There would be 50% are the total of number of squares shaded from all the five grids
