1 Step Problem Equation Solving and 2 Step Problem Equation Solving

Today, again, like other days we did our daily routine. First we did a warm up, which is problem solving. Next we came to the main part of our class, Algebra a generalization of arithmetic in which letters representing numbers are combined according to the rules of arithmetic. Today we had to do 1 step problem equation solving. The 1 step problem solving process the first picture. Doing this process makes your problem easier and less pain for your brain. After all the discussion we were given assignments that helped us understand the 1 step problem solving. We did it till class ends. We had a sandwich day meaning we get to see Mr. Harbeck for two classes. I dont know if it's a good thing or not, whatever you say. So that was the first class. 55 minutes of social studies... and we're on for the second math class. This part of the class was the same as the first class but we learned 2 step problem solving. There is also a process just like the 1 step problem. It's up there ^ 2 step problem. After all the talking mr. Harbeck gave us homework ! .. hah ! it's all good. We were working on it for the rest of the class. Well some of this is all new to me but mostly all of it is familiar. It was like a reviwe but to other people that don't know this is a great way of finding it out. This material can be really easy for alot of people but for some not really so that's why we have a blog right ? to learn and help each other. Sorry Mr. harbeck i don't post much = [ but my brother is busy doing his math blog too, so i can't use it. But hey he's out today ! lucky for me =D

To conclude, we learned a whole lot that day because of the double class. Understanding algebra and equations isn't that hard as long as you focus.

and arielle you're up next!

Excellent Post Laramae. I'm glad someone has took the time to make a visual to post on the scribe. Excellent work.

Great scribe post Laramae! The pictures were great and the way you used colour really helps to understand how to solve these sorts of equations.

I also really liked that picture at the end. ;-)

Keep up the good work!

BTW, I'm a friend of Mr. H's who teaches at the high school. I'm going to suggest some of my students look at your scribe post to see how it's done. Bravo!

The girls of 816 always take the blog and the scribe to the next level. Great job. You should teach the rest of the class how to put the pictures in and how you used pictures to explain the algebra.

WOW excellent job
