Tuesday, April 25 Scribe (:

Today we learned about parts of a fraction. We learned that there is the denominator, and numerator. We learned that the denominator tells you how many equal sized parts make up the whole. It is the bottem number in a fraction. The denominator tells you how large or small the parts are.

We also learned that the numerator is the top number. It tells you how many parts of the whole you have. When the numerator and denominator are the same (4/4) you have 1 whole. When the numerator is larger then the denominator it is an improper fraction. You have more then one.

ookay, thats all i have, enjoy :)
