krizzia's growing post, im cool :)

1) To write a fraction in lowest terms, you have to think of the largest number that will divide evenly into both the numerator & the denominator. The first fraction has a numerator of 8 and a denominator of 12. The largest number that divides evenly into 8 and 12 is 4. 4 is called the greatest common factor of 8 and 12.

2) Improper & mixed numbers are the same because you can borrow, and use the whole number's to write a different fraction..?

3) http://www.iit.edu/~smile/ma8817.html: this website can show students how to understand Equivalent Fractions. In a fun and easy way. There is even materials that we can use to understand it more. We can try the activity our selves.

4) a) sha has 1/3 of a pie and zzia has 3/4 of a a pie. How much of a pie do sha and zzia have all together?

b) If rose ate 3 3/4 of a chocolate bar then gave krisha 1 2/4 of her chocolate bar how much chocolate does rose have left?
