2. How are improper fractions and mixed numbers the same ?
A mixed number is a whole number and a fraction together. An improper fraction is when the numerator has more parts than the denominator. They are the same becasue you can easily convert an improper fraction to a mixed number and a mixed number to an improper fraction.

3. This site http://www.webmath.com/redfract.html will help you reduce fractions. You enter your fraction and it reduces it in lowest terms and if you don't get how they did it, they will explain the process so you can do it yourself.

4. A) There is an assembly at a school and 2/3 of the students in class A is going join 3/4 of the students in class B in the auditorium. How many students are there altogether ?
B) Jayson made a 2 and 3/4 cake, then Mark accidentally ate 1 and 1/3 of the cake. How much cake is left?
