2. how are imporper fractions and mixed numbers the same?

An improper fraction is a number where the numerator is BIGGER than the denominator. A mixed number is a whole number with a fraction. For example 3 2/3... they are the same because you can change a mixed number into an improper fraction by multiplying the denominator with the whole number and adding the numerator. Let's use the example of 3 2/3...3 x 3 = 9 + 2 = 11/3... that is the improper fraction.

3. find a website or blog that explains how to create equivalent fractions in lowest terms. create a link to it and a brief dsecription of what the site has to offer.

This site shows and teaches you how to make equivalent fractions into lowest terms. It explains how you got your answer. It also explains how to show it in two ways.

4.a)Write a word problem that involves adding these two fractions with denominators of fourths and thirds and your answer is an improper fraction.
